Hello everyone! We are introducing “Fashion Exposé”; an article which will allow you inside the fashion scene stir, we will bring you the latest, hottest and most glamourous news in the fashion industry all over the world. This week we’re starting off with something really special that happened earlier last week, I’ll give you a hint, it was in London Fashion Week, any guessing? It’s an Egyptian – British designer collaboration, still no luck? Well, brace yourselves; it is Azza Fahmy for Matthew Williamson. *make some noise*

Azza Fahmy; the Egyptian fine jewelry designer that who’s famous for her intricately carved Arabic calligraphy designs in silver and gold rings, pharaoh-inspired statement necklaces, earrings and cuffs. Her designs are unique and worn by many celebrities such as Rihanna. It’s not the first time Azza Fahmy collaborates with a well-known designer from the fashion scene; she collaborated with Julien Macdonald back in 2008, and also created a collection for Preen Fall/Winter 2010. This year it was Matthew Williamson’s turn, it seemed, and it was truly worth the buzz.

A 10-piece capsule collection of spectacular, breathtaking jewelry that would make any woman feel sophisticated wearing them, and while Matthew wanted to take us back to 1997 with his collection and choice of colour palette and dragon flies, Azza Fahmy added the futuristic appeal to the 90s attire to suit spring 2014.

Stack rings where the highlight of the collection, along with a coin necklace with matching bracelet and chandelier-like earrings, also double arm cuffs, all in glittering yellow gold for the perfect final golden touch.

The collection will be exclusively available at the Matthew Williamson flagship store in London starting spring next year.

We’re really proud of this collaboration and of Azza Fahmy’s adorned craftsmanship, this latest collection left us hungry for more indeed.
